Happening Event

The event was so much fun and I enjoyed experiencing each person's creative energy! Thanks everyone for a great evening and thanks Robyn for the yummy refreshments and goodies !!!

Creation process for happening

This has been a process for sure. Who would have thought trolls could have such interesting lives? The hunt for the right places for them to move into as well as what kind of furnishings do they like, who do they want to live next to; all swirled through my mind. They all have such unique perspectives on life and death! Eventually they worked it out and everyone seems to be happy in their new digs. But believe me, they have stories to tell if anyone wants to stop by to hear them on the night of the Happening!!!

Trolls, Trolls,Trolls

I found this image by John Bauer. He wrote: Look at them troll mother said. Look at my sons! You won't find more beautiful trolls this side of the moon (1915). This image was rendered so beautifully it is hard to read that the Norse, Scandanavian and Germanic people considered them ugly, stupid and hostile monsters. This is quite beautiful to me.

Drawing from Within

The intense but definitely worth the work class Peter London resided over a few weeks ago was challenging and brought a lot of deep emotions and thoughts. The piece on the right was one that came out of part of the work and for me signifies my seven stars, my kids and their significant others. This is a piece I think I will add to over time to include my going on five grandkids, more stars brought down from the sky to bless my life. The piece on the left is from Karen Sjoholm's Creativity and Consciousness and was my take on the black box and my inner opposite.
