Sha Sha Higby

Sha Sha is amazing to me. After I saw her performance in an art history class I was entranced. I grew up in dance and ballet and it is still a huge part of my life but her movements are mezmerizing. JJ when you said you had seen one of her performances that blew me away and I hope to see her someday. Thanks for sharing my thoughts about her sculptures, costumes, performance and attitudes. I have included a link to the UTube on The Glass Jungle. Enjoy!

  1. I meant to share this earlier-
It seemed like you couldn't find as much info as you wanted for your presentation on Sha Sha... Since I have a background as an archivist and taxonomist I learned how to research all kinds of topics including fine art. So... I want to share a simple way to search on google and get more results.

By putting your search in quotations it limits the results:
    "sha sha higby"

And, if you include more info, use this parameter, add a plus signi.e.

    "sha sha higby" +butoh

    Or

    "sha sha higby" +sculpture
